The new Sarawak State
Legislative Assembly Building, or DUN (Dewan Undangan Negeri) is located on the
opposite side of the Sarawak River, between Fort Margherita and the Astance,
facing the Kuching Waterfront. This stunning nine-storey complex is a
reminiscent of the Bidayuh Longhouse and resemble the Melanau tribe hat.
